Mark Haddon

Mark Haddon est né en 1962 à Northampton, Angleterre et a fait des études d'anglais. Il a occupé divers emplois, notamment avec des enfants handicapés. Il s'est également lancé dans la peinture et le dessin. Il a écrit son premier livre pour enfant en 1987, Gilbert's Gobstopper. Il est plus connu grâce à son roman pour adulte, Le curieux incident du chien pendant la nuit, qui lui a valu le Prix Whitebreas du meilleur roman en 2003.

Il vit actuellement à Oxford avec son épouse.
